The Story Behind Gibson's Warehouse

If buildings could talk

Thomas Jasper (T.J.) Collins, a celebrated architect, drew these warehouse blueprints in 1905. Highly sought for his talent, Mr. Collins designed over 200 buildings in the Staunton area between 1891 — 1911, including the Staunton Train Station, Augusta County Courthouse, C.W. Miller House, Isabel House, and Arista Hoge House. Thirteen of the buildings Collins designed are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
